Era's School of Nursing managed by the Era Educational Trust and associated with Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital offers a 3-year diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery. The School of Nursing is recognized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and is affiliated to the UP State Medical Faculty. The number of seats in each batch is 50. Candidates who have qualified in the 10+2 or equivalent examination and are in the age group of 17 to 35 years are eligible for admission. Admission is based on a written examination, followed by an interview. Candidates can also join the course with an agreement to serve at Era Hospital for 2 to 3 years. They are offered very attractive terms during their training and service within the agreement period. Internship after training is mandatory as per the norms laid down by the Indian Nursing Council.
