Department of Pathology
The department has well equipped laboratories for Histopathology, Cytopathology, Chemical Pathology including Immunology and Specialised Haematology to support the hospital. A Central Investigation Lab, running round the clock caters to all outdoor and emergency patients. These laboratories are capable of giving high quality services at very affordable cost. The teaching faculty is a unique blend of highly experienced senior teachers and young enthusiastic and talented staff. Modern aids including microscopes with L.C.D Projection Photomicrography are available for teaching. The departmental museum has laudible collection of gross specimens and abundant photomicrographs. The students practical laboratories are well equipped and can accommodate 150 students. |

Department of Microbiology
All modern facilities are available for diagnosis and imparting training to medical students. At present the department has laboratories for bacteriological investigations like culture / sensitivity test for blood, pus, sputum, swap smears etc. The department also has the facility for immunological investigations with ELISA reader and screening of samples for HIV/Hepatitis TORCH/Tuberculosis and Dengue/ Neuro cysticarcosis is also carried out. The department has also facilities for investigations in Mycology/ Parasitology / Serology and Dot’s programme for Tuberculosis. In the near future, the department also plans to start research. Deparment has also started postgraduation course as per the permission granted by the MCI and Govt. of India. |

Department of Pharmacology
& Therapeutics
Teaching and training related to drugs and pharmacy is carried out in this department which has a very informative museum. The Hospital has its own dispensary where mixtures, ointments and other drugs are prepared under the supervision of qualified pharmacists. The department has a well-equipped experiments lab and research lab. Department has got permission of three Post-Graduation seats by MCI and Govt. of India. A number of research projects and other academic activities are going on in the department also published research paper. Department is also in planning to establish a neuro pharmacological unit in the department. |

Department of Forensic
Medicine & Toxicology
Cases related to postmortem and medico- legal cases are dealt with in this department. Department is well staffed and well equipped and not only making the students well aquinted medicolegal works also giving them reasonable knowledge about our legal system and make them realize there role and responsibility as a medical man. A very resourceful museum is available with mounting facility. Department is conducting the various research project of medicolegal importance and some are in pipe line. The department is looking for permission of starting postgraduation programme very soon. |
