Only a healthy body houses a healthy mind. The management considers all students as their own children and aims at providing them with the best possible. Organically grown vegetables from the in house farm are used for cooking as often as possible and the milk supplied for the daily use is also from domesticated cows and buffaloes. Artificial colours and preservatives are not used in cooking.
The use of conventional non-organic pesticides, insecticides and herbicides is greatly restricted at our farm. Instead Vermicompost manure is being used. Fodder for the cattle is also grown without the use of pesticide 
Our decision to use organically grown vegetable and organic milk is based upon various studies that have shown how organophosphate pesticides have various ill effects like abdominal pain, respiratory, skin and eye problems, memory disorders and depression etc. Research showed that nutrient level in organic fruits and vegetables is much higher and contains upto 40% more antioxidants and that the figure was 60% for organic milk. Another Research showed that organic milk contains 68% more Omega-3 fatty acid, deficiency of which is the major cause of various health problems such as heart diseases, cancer, arthritis etc.
While all meals are cooked in best available refined oil. Olive oil, mustard oil and pure ghee are also used for cooking frequently. Studies have shown that Olive oil offers protection against heart diseases. It is well tolerated by the stomach, has a beneficial effect on ulcer and gastritis. A diet rich in olive oil has been shown to reduce the incidence of colon, breast and skin cancers.
Mustard seeds are a very good source of Omega-3 fatty acids as well as dietary fiber, protein, niacin, calcium manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium and zinc. All of these are required by our body and help in reducing asthma, arthritis and blood pressure.
Ghee is an integral part of science of Ayurvedic herbal formulations which helps balance excess stomach acid, and helps maintain/repair the mucus lining of stomach. Ghee is also said to promote all three aspects of mental functioning - learning, memory and recall.
All over India Aluminum cookware is vastly used in cooking meals. Foods cooked and retained in Aluminum pots react with metal to form Aluminum salts the consumption of which is associated with impaired visual, motor coordination and Alzheimer disease. Therefore, the management has decided to use Zinc coated utensils as much as possible for cooking because Zinc is an essential mineral that is found in every cell of our body and activates white blood cells to fight infections and protect the body against viruses.
