The department of Orthopadics like all other departments is well staffed and equipped, along with a fully functional trauma unit to cater to all sorts of emergencies. Operations are performed under image intensifier. Joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery of the knee are performed as routine procedures. Doctors of this department have been associated with the tertiary care of post-polio paralysis cases and have attended many operative surgical camps in UP and Madhya Pradesh. ELMC & H also organizes polio surgery camps.
